New Insights into Alzheimer's Disease

Voyager Pharmaceutical Corporation, a specialty pharmaceutical company, is dedicated to finding cures for major age-related diseases. Our initial focus is Alzheimer's Disease and our lead product is a patented treatment that has shown the potential for treating and halting the progression of this disease. Today, over 4,500,000 Americans suffer with Alzheimer's Disease. It is estimated that more than $100 billion is spent annually to treat and care for those with this ailment. Sadly, these numbers are growing every day as the situation for many patients and their families grows desperate, despite the millions of dollars spent annually to find the answer to solving this disease.

We are moving to guide our patented treatment through all the necessary clinical trials and have it available for patients as quickly as possible. We believe our product represents a major new development in the battle against Alzheimer's Disease. Currently, no medications or treatments stop or materially slows the progression of this disease. In the third quarter of 2005, we initiated enrollment and in the fourth quarter of 2005 we dosed the first patient in the first of our two Phase III clinical trials of the Memryte implant for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease, as adjunctive therapy with acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. We plan to initiate enrollment and dose the first patient in the second Phase III clinical trial in the fourth quarter of 2005. We are excited about the potential that our product holds to become the treatment in Alzheimer's that dramatically changes the quality of life of patients and their families.

Leveraging This New Scientific Knowledge

Our groundbreaking research efforts have produced new and exciting scientific evidence regarding the cause of Alzheimer's Disease. We are now applying the new scientific insights gained from this effort to other diseases of aging. While our first product is focused on Alzheimer's Disease, we do not intend to stop there. We are hard at work broadening our therapeutic targets and have filed for patents on a number of additional applications of our technology in diseases such as Parkinson's, atherosclerosis, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis in addition to brain and colon cancer.
