Voyager Pharmaceutical Corporation Announces Key Executive Promotions

Two Founding Members of the Management Team Charged With Leading Company's Sales and Marketing Responsibilities

Raleigh, NC, February 10, 2005 - Voyager Pharmaceutical Corporation, the specialty pharmaceutical company focused on diseases of aging and development, today announced the promotion of Steve Fiander and Larry Tusick to the positions of Vice President, Sales and Marketing.  The two professionals will co-manage a number of key business, clinical and corporate responsibilities associated with the company's emerging Alzheimer's disease (AD) treatment and two to three other new clinical breakthroughs.

Among Mr. Fiander and Tusick's first projects in their new positions will be the recruitment and training of a 200 professional specialty salesforce for the projected 2008 launch of Voyager's long-term care AD therapy.  In particular, the company is now actively engaged in an ambitious AD research program that will transition into pivotal clinical studies throughout the U.S. and Europe during the second half of this year.

Mr. Fiander has worked in healthcare sales and marketing management for more than 30 years, and has supported Voyager's unprecedented milestone achievements since 2001.  He brings a diverse track record of functional expertise and success to his position.  Mr. Tusick has a similar success record, and also has contributed numerous strategic insights for Voyager's successful track record over the same time frame.

"With a diverse set of challenges in our short-term future, there is a necessity to engage only the most capable and seasoned of professionals to meet our ambitious goals," said Patrick S. Smith, Chief Executive Officer, Voyager Pharmaceutical Corp.  "Steve and Larry offer just such talent and will prove indispensable in a number of critical areas, including clinical trial management, sales force recruitment, medical education, and senior strategic counsel."

Voyager's Invention Center, headed by Dr. Christopher Gregory is conducting preclinical work in prostate cancer, A.L.S., Parkinson's disease and improving the post-natal development of premature infants.  The company expects to have many of these programs moved to the clinic by the end of 2005.

Voyager Pharmaceutical Corporation is a Raleigh, North Carolina based specialty Pharmaceutical company that has an initial focus on a new treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Voyager's Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Richard Bowen, has recently published "A New Theory on Aging" paper which drives much of Voyager's platform, and the company has continued to patent applications in over 150 diseases of aging and development.
